A two-time ECHO Award winner, Ramón Ortega Quero is recognized around the world as one of the most inspiring musicians of his generation. He has been Principal Oboist of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra since 2008, under its Principal Conductor Mariss Jansons.
Ramón appears regularly as a guest soloist with major international orchestras, and has worked with conductors including Riccardo Muti, Sir Colin Davies, John Eliot Gardiner, Daniel Barenboim and Sir Simon Rattle.
Today he shares his knowledge and experience in an exciting masterclass with musicians from the RCM Woodwind Faculty.Â
